Application requirements

Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology

Please refer to our application requirements before applying for a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (MC-CEXPHY) at Curtin.

Please submit the documents below with your application that are relevant to your applicant type:

Curtin University applicants (past and present):

  • Academic transcript and award certificate of completion of ESSA approved Curtin University course – Bachelor of Science: Exercise, Sports and Rehabilitation Science (B-EXSPRHB)
  • OR Academic transcript and award certificate of Curtin University course – 314163 Bachelor of Science: Exercise, Sports and Rehabilitation Science plus completion of the ESRS Supplementary Course (award certificate MUST be included with application)
  • OR Academic transcript and award certificate of Curtin University course – 314164 Bachelor of Science: Exercise, Sports Science major plus completion of the ESRS Supplementary Course (award certificate MUST be included with application)
  • A completed personal statement
  • A completed student academic reference (request this directly from the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science)
  • Evidence of 140hrs of Exercise Science Practicum in the form of one of the below;

Non-Curtin University applicants (who have completed an ESSA approved course):

  • Apparently Healthy Practicum (ESSA) logbook and Supervisor form OR
  • Completed ESSA Record of Student Engagement OR
  • Applicants are a current or past ESSA Accredited Exercise Scientist (must include accreditation evidence such as
  • Accreditation certificate and/or ID number) OR
  • Applicants hold an approved Graduate Entry Assessment from ESSA (must include approval letter from ESSA)


Non-Curtin University applicants (who have completed a Non-ESSA approved course):
