Chemistry double degree major

To switch into this course, you need to have:

  • attained an ATAR of 75; or
  • completed 100 credits with a semester weighted average (SWA) of 60% or higher; and
  • met the prerequisites.

The Math Methods prerequisite can be met with:

  • Math Methods ATAR; or
  • MATH1013 Introductory Mathematics; or
  • MATH1005 Pre-Calculus (12.5 credits); and
  • MATH1014 Foundations of Calculus.

The Chemistry prerequisite can be met with:

  • Chemistry ATAR; or
  • CHEM1003 Introduction to Chemistry and CHEM1005 Introduction to Biological Chemistry.

Coastal and marine science double degree major

To switch into this course, you need to have:

  • attained an ATAR of 75; or
  • completed 100 credits with a semester weighted average (SWA) of 60% or higher; and
  • met the prerequisites.

The Math Applications prerequisite can be met with:

  • Math Applications ATAR; or
  • MATH1013 Introductory Mathematics; or
  • MATH1005 Pre-Calculus.

The Science prerequisite can be met with any of the following:

  • Animal Production Systems ATAR, Applied Information Technology ATAR, Biology ATAR, Chemistry ATAR, Computer Science ATAR, Earth and Environmental Science ATAR, Engineering Studies ATAR, Human Biology ATAR, Integrated Science ATAR, Marine and Maritime Studies ATAR, Physics ATAR, Plant Production Systems ATAR or Psychology ATAR; or
  • BIOL1000 Functional Biology; or
  • BCCB1000 Cell Biology; or
  • CHEM1003 Introduction to Chemistry; or
  • CHEM1001 Biological Chemistry; or
  • PHYS1006 Foundations of Physics; or
  • GEOL1005 Fundamentals of Geology 1.

Data science double degree major

To switch into this course, you need to have:

  • attained an ATAR of 80 and met the prerequisites; or
  • if you have studied Math Applications or equivalent:
    • completed 100 credits within one semester, with a semester weighted average (SWA) of 65% or higher plus any unit/s assessed as comparable to Math Methods ATAR or higher; or
  • if you have studied Math Methods or equivalent:
    • completed 100 credits within one semester, with an SWA of 60% or higher plus any unit/s assessed as comparable to Math Methods ATAR or higher; or
  • completed 200 credits with a course weighted average (CWA) of 55% or higher plus any unit/s assessed as comparable to Math Methods ATAR or higher; or
  • completed 400 credits with a CWA of 50% of higher plus any unit/s assessed as comparable to Math Methods ATAR or higher.

The Math Methods prerequisite can be met with:

  • Math Methods ATAR; or
  • MATH1013 Introductory Mathematics; or

  • MATH1014 Foundations of Calculus.

Environmental biology double degree major

To switch into this course, you need to have:

  • attained an ATAR of 75; or
