English language courses and programs
Bridging programs must have been undertaken within two years of application, however, they may be used for entry until the next immediate semester intake.
Curtin English Language Bridging course
Applicants must have achieved a grade B or higher.
Australian University English Language Bridging program
Successful completion of a full-time English language bridging program at a recognised Australian University with the following scores.
To meet Curtin University’s minimum English requirements, applicants must achieve a final result comparable to at least IELTS Academic with an overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 at the awarding university.
To meet higher English requirement (scores higher than IELTS Academic with an overall score 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0) at Curtin University, applicants must achieve the equivalent required result at the awarding institution which is comparable to the course’s specific English requirement.
Successful completion of one of the following approved programs with the required result (if applicable) is only accepted in meeting minimum English criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework courses i.e. IELTS Academic Overall 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0.

Successful completion of a recognised Australian University English Language Bridging Program one semester full-time in duration.
