If you’re currently in year 12 or you’ve previously completed year 12, you can apply now for 2021 entry.
How to apply
Submit your course preferences via TISC with Curtin as your first preference from 18 May 2020.
If you’re in year 12 and haven’t received your final ATAR, don’t worry – all you need to do is submit your predicted ATAR (if your school has provided one) when you apply.
We’ll aim to get back to you within 7 days.
TISC fee reimbursement
Because it’s been a difficult year financially for many people, we’re refunding the TISC application fee. If you apply to TISC before 1 October with Curtin as your first preference, and you receive and accept an offer from us, we’ll refund your application fee.
Assessing your application
If you are currently in year 12, we will assess your application based on the ATAR we predict you’ll achieve, calculated from your year 11 results. The offer you receive will be conditional on you achieving that predicted ATAR at the end of the year.
You’ll also need to meet English requirements and any prerequisites for your preferred course.
If you already have an ATAR from previous years, your offer will be based on that.
Receiving your offer
For most courses, we’re able to send you an offer before you sit your WACE exams.
For some courses, we can’t offer you a place until after results are released by TISC. You can still apply now with Curtin as your first preference for peace of mind and to be eligible for the TISC fee reimbursement.
The following courses will only make offers after 2020 WACE results are released:
- Actuarial Science
- Exercise, Sports and Rehabilitation Science
- Laboratory Medicine
- Medical Imaging
- Nursing Conversion Program for Registered Nurses (Australian Registration Nurse stream)
- Nursing Conversion Program for Registered Nurses (Non-Registration Nurse stream)
