Your mining career starts here
When you study a mining-related degree at Curtin, you’ll get the unique opportunity to live and study in one of Australia’s most important mining regions.
After completing one or two years of study in Perth, you’ll continue your degree in Kalgoorlie, an historic mining town in the heart of Australia’s gold and nickel industry.
The experience provides valuable insight into the mining industry as you interact with mining professionals and gain practical skills at real mine sites. It’s one of the reasons Curtin University is ranked second in the world for mineral and mining engineering*.
