About offering
This course enables you to gain the knowledge and expertise needed to advance in the field of international business and management. It entails both independent study and team projects across a range of relevant, internationally focused subjects. You may also have the opportunity to plan and experience an international study tour.
During your course, you will have the opportunity to undertake a cross-disciplinary stream of four units. This is a multi-faculty initiative, linking the MIB with a wide choice of specialisations. The cross-disciplinary nature of these streams means you will have the opportunity to interact with students from other faculties.
Complete the MIB in one year
Eligible applications can apply for credit, based on a wide range of criteria and complete the MIB in eight units or one year full time. Applicants with extensive leadership experience in relevant industry settings will be eligible to apply for up to 100 credit points of Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL).*
Available streams:
Elective stream
Instead of choosing a specialisation, you may also choose to undertake an elective stream, so that you can have more flexibility over the units you will undertake.
*Note: Students need to submit evidence of completion of an undergraduate qualification, and a CV, including documented evidence of the relevance and the complexities of the experience of prior learning. This could include such evidence as, references, letter/s from an employee, evidence of professional development, executive education courses, completion of MicroMasters or MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), a portfolio showing field, volunteer and service work and learning, and community engagement, to be considered for up to 100 credits points of CRL.
Please refer to the handbook for additional course overview information.
