A full-time study load usually consists of 200 credits (approximately eight units) per year, with 100 credits (approximately four units) in each semester.

With human exploitation of the environment having taken a serious toll on the planet, environmental scientists are needed to solve issues related to land degradation, urban and regional development, pollution, loss of biodiversity, and the impacts of mining, oil and gas extraction and processing.
In this course you will undertake environmental research and develop expertise in zoology, botany, ecology, genetics, environmental management, sustainability and statistics.

In this specialisation, you will gain the ideal combination of knowledge and skills for careers in natural resource management and related areas.
In this specialisation, you will study the advanced aspects of chemical science. You'll learn to use complex equipment and apply procedures to understand the science that underpins biochemistry and make, analyse and monitor chemicals in our environment.
Effective monitoring, management and restoration of the natural environment are required to preserve and improve biodiversity. In this specialisation, you will gain the knowledge and skills to excel in environmental management.
In this specialisation you will study marine biology, oceanographic sciences, sustainable aquaculture and fisheries management, and gain the knowledge and skills required to understand, protect and manage marine environments.

What you'll learn
