Not all Curtin courses are offered for the semester two intake. You can view the available intakes for each course by finding your desired course on the Curtin course search website, then click on the 'Location' tab of the selected course.

If your course is offered for Semester 2, you can submit an application for admission through the Curtin course search webpage. You will need to select your desired course using the search function, then click the 'Apply Now' button to commence your application.

For further information, refer to our How to apply webpage. You can select the correct filter in the yellow box to change the region to domestic students (Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident) or international students (Temporary Entry visa holders). 

Course tuition fees can be found on the Courses webpage using the steps below:

1. Search for the course you wish to study in the Find your course search box.
2. Select the relevant course from the search results.
3. Ensure the correct student status (Domestic - AUS & NZ or International) is selected at the top of the page.
4. Select the Fees & charges tab on the course page to view indicative course fees.  

For specific unit fees, please refer to our Tuition fees webpage. You may incur other fees as part of your study at Curtin. 

Tuition fees for courses studied through Open Universities Australia (OUA) can be found on the OUA website.

Curtin is closed on most public holidays. The public holidays Curtin will be closed for can be found below:

• New Years Day
• Australia Day
• Labour Day
• Good Friday
• Easter Monday
• Easter Tuesday (although this is not an official public holiday, Curtin will be closed on this day)
• Anzac Day
• Western Australia Day
• Queen's Birthday
• Christmas Day
• Boxing Day

Curtin Student Guild offers many fun events as well as the opportunity to join clubs and associations to ensure our students get the most out of student life. To defer your offer:

If you submitted your application in eApplications before 13 November 2023:

1. Login to OASIS.
2. Click on the eStudent box.
3. Click on the My Offers tab. 
4. You will see a list of the courses for which you have received an offer. Select View for the appropriate offer. 
5. Check that the details displayed are correct.
6. Click Defer to load the deferral form. It will automatically default to the correct deferral period (12 months). 
7. Click Defer. 
8. A green success message will confirm that you have successfully deferred your offer. 

If you submitted your application in the Applicant Portal after 13 November 2023:

1. Log into the Applicant Portal. 
2. Click My Applications.
3. Under My Applications, you will see the course(s) for which you have applied for.
4. Click View on the application you would like to defer.
5. Check that the details displayed are correct.
6. Click More (in the top left of your screen). 
7. Click Defer. Click OK to confirm.

If your offer has lapsed or you have already accepted your offer, please submit a query via the online enquiry form.

You can only apply to defer up to the census date for that study period. After the census date has passed, you may still be able to put your studies on hold by completing a Leave of Absence request. For more information, please contact Curtin Connect.
