Find the academic support you need
The online classroom
Our custom student app, Blackboard, connects you with your lecturers, tutors and classmates whenever and wherever you want. You can also access course material, group assignments and check your grades.
Improve your study skills
The Learning Centre provides a range of online programs designed to improve your academic study, writing, numeracy and IT skills. The programs are self-paced and subjects include referencing and plagiarism, essay writing, grammar, critical thinking and time management.
Connect with your tutors
Your course coordinator and tutors are here to help you succeed in your studies and are available to give feedback and answer any questions you might have about assessments, course materials, unit readings or other queries relating to your course.
You can connect with your tutor through our student app, email and discussions forums.
Get instant access to online articles, journals, books and databases through the Curtin Library. The library also offers online academic skills workshops and study guides.
If you need help finding a resource, our friendly library staff can assist you via phone or email.
We offer a range of services to help boost your employability. Find job listings, career resources, industry events, academic workshops and professional mentors.

Our Student Wellbeing Advisory Service provides confidential support for any issue that may be affecting your study or personal life.
Our IT team is on hand to ensure you’ve got the optimal online setup, and can provide remote help with any tech or equipment issues.
As an online student, you can also download free or discounted software, including Microsoft Word.
