Arts and creative industries

If you’re a creative person who wants to find an individual voice to make your mark on the world, our courses can help develop your skills and teach you to apply them in the working world. We have excellent teaching facilities and industry standard equipment where you can use your creative flair, including an on-campus media production studio, 3D printers, theatre, radio station, and online publications. Our students are industry-ready when they graduate and many go on to achieve outstanding success in artistic and media careers.

Curtin was the only choice I considered seriously to study fine art. I had known friends who had come through the fine art major and I had also seen a lot of Curtin graduates’ work outside of the school, so it felt like the best option for me.  The degree provides the ability to problem solve and think critically within your own practice. It also provides readily available feedback through resources, teachers and peers, and I hope to maintain relationships with Curtin’s art community once I graduate.
