Entry pathways


Completing a MicroMasters program in the Internet of Things (IoT) provides credit towards Curtin’s Master of International Business and Entrepreneurship program*

*subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Successful completion of all six verified courses provides an entry pathway into the Master of International Business and Entrepreneurship program at Curtin University. Subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met, you will receive credit for four of the twelve units that comprise the degree program.

Completing a MicroMasters program in the Internet of Things (IoT) provides credit towards Curtin’s Master of Engineering Science (Electrical Engineering) program*

*subject to prior completion of a Bachelor of Engineering degree, and the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Successful completion of all six verified courses provides an entry pathway into the Master of Engineering Science (Electrical Engineering) program at Curtin University. Subject to evidence of completion of a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognised university, and the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met, you will receive 100 credits towards the 400 credits required to complete the degree program.

Completing a MicroMasters program in Marketing in a Digital World provides credit towards Curtin’s Master of Marketing degree program*

*subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Successful completion of all five verified courses provides an entry pathway into the Master of Marketing degree program at Curtin University. Subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met, you will receive credit for three of the eleven units that comprise the degree program.

Completing a MicroMasters program in Human Rights provides credit towards Curtin’s Master of Human Rights degree program*

*subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Successful completion of all three verified courses (in addition to a pre-entry assessment task) provides an entry pathway into the Master of Human Rights degree program at Curtin University, which can be studied on campus or fully online. Subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met, you will receive credit for three of the ten units that comprise the degree program.

Curtin provides credit for UCSD’s Data Science MicroMasters credential*

*subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Students who have successfully completed the University of California, San Diego’s MicroMasters program in Data Science may apply for admission to Curtin’s Master of Predictive Analytics, and are eligible to apply for Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) for the completed MicroMasters program.

In addition to the MicroMasters credential, applicants are required to provide separate evidence of meeting Curtin’s Academic and English requirements to gain entry into this award program. Further details may be found at:

Curtin provides credit for UBC’s Software Development MicroMasters credential*

*subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Students who have successfully completed the University of British Columbia’s MicroMasters program in Software Development may apply for admission to Curtin’s Master of Science (Computer Science), and are eligible to apply for Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) for the completed MicroMasters program.

In addition to the MicroMasters credential, consideration for the MSc (Computer Science) degree requires completion of a comprehensive pre-entry assessment. There will be a fee charged for the pre-entry assessment.

Applicants will also need to provide separate evidence of meeting Curtin’s Academic and English requirements to gain entry into this award program. Further details may be found at:

Curtin provides credit for MIT’s Supply Chain MicroMasters credential*

*subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Interested students who have completed MIT’s Supply Chain MicroMasters program will need to contact Curtin University to submit an application for admission. You can read more about Curtin University’s Credit for previous study process.

Successful completion of MIT’s Supply Chain MicroMasters credential can be applied to both the Master of Supply Chain Management and the Master of Commerce (Supply Chain Management) at Curtin University, and in both cases, students will be eligible to apply for Credit for Recognised Learning for the completed MicroMasters credential.

Students who have completed MIT’s Supply Chain MicroMasters program who are applying for entry to Curtin’s Master of Supply Chain Management degree will need a prior business or engineering degree from a recognised institution. Prior degrees from recognised institutions in disciplines other than business or engineering are also acceptable if the applicant has at least five years relevant workplace experience.

Students applying for entry to the Master of Commerce (Supply Chain Management) degree will need a prior degree from a recognised institution in any discipline.


Curtin provides credit for UC Berkeley Extension’s MicroMasters in Marketing Analytics credential*

*subject to the Curtin University Admission Criteria being met.

Students who have successfully completed the University of California, Berkeley Extension’s MicroMasters in Marketing Analytics program may apply for admission to Curtin’s Master of Marketing, and are eligible to apply for Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) for the completed MicroMasters program.
