How to get into Curtin

Once you know what you want to study, follow these steps to apply for a place with us.

1. Check for course prerequisites

To be eligible for entry into some Curtin courses, you need to have completed a specific ATAR subject or unit. These are called prerequisites. Search for your course below to see if it has any prerequisites – they’ll be listed under Admission Criteria.

2. Find a pathway

Everyone’s journey to uni is different. If you’re not studying ATAR, unsure if you meet the prerequisites or worried about passing English, watch the video or use our Pathways finder tool to learn about all your entry options.

3. Apply via TISC

Once you’ve checked whether your course has any prerequisites and confirmed which pathway is suitable for you, it’s time to apply! You apply to study at Curtin in semester 1 via TISC. Visit the TISC website for application opening dates.

Applying for 2021?

To give you peace of mind in these challenging times, we’ve opened 2021 applications early with two new flexible entry pathways. Also, because it’s been a difficult year financially for many people, we’re refunding the TISC application fee.
